Just go ahead and think about the last thing you bought online. It didn’t just teleport to your door. Every product goes through a whole chain of people moving it from place to place. Even with smarter warehouses and faster ordering systems, there’s no skipping the need for skilled workers in logistics.

But of course, your Amazon package is merely just one example (and a fairly simplified version too). But drivers, especially, are always needed, and some jobs pay really well because they require extra training.
